Groups of people working together in interdependent ways toward the same goals. Often part of organizations. The newsletter repeatedly harps on how open-endedness and the uncertainty mindset leads to teams that work well with each other and are able to both innovate and adapt in situations of uncertainty. On that, see negotiated joining, open-ended roles, motivation, desperation by design, and goal-setting. (I only harp because it is true.)
