The processes by which new members are brought into a group (such as an organization. Conventional hiring processes are totally unsuited for uncertainty. In this newsletter I often advocate for negotiated joining instead, a process that uses open-ended roles as a forcing function for creating more innovative teams that are also more adaptable, and resilient to uncertain futures.
